Michael Hsu
Editor-in-Chief		 Michael Hsu is always changing. He thinks that if he writes something here, he'll regret it later when it's no longer true. Currently, Michael sleeps too much on the weekends, isn't eating the daily recommended amount of fruits and vegetables, and doesn't have a car or job. He hopes that when he reads this again in the future, things will be different.
Emily Moon
Senior Editor		 Emily Moon is a 4th year Psychology and Social Behavior and Criminology major. She likes books, laughing and Rubio's grilled shrimp burritos. After she graduates Emily hopes to pursue a career as a coroner or a famous rapper. Anything involving dead people, cashmoney or writing will make her very very happy. Lauren Levine
Associate Editor		 Lauren is a fourth year English Major with the Creative Writing Emphasis. When she was little, Lauren liked to tell stories about her family. This would often embarrass her family members and get Lauren into trouble. Realizing the secret brilliance of fiction, Lauren began to write these, and some of her own, stories down. Lauren has been writing stories ever since that only rarely get her into trouble. Her love of reading other peoples stories also tends to get her into trouble as it verges on blatant nosiness. Lauren is extremely grateful to New Forum for giving her the opportunity to have an appropriate outlet for her nose.

Justin Standard
(still) Webmaster		 Justin Standard is a late year model UC Irvine Computer Science and English double major. He spends most his time carousing and gambling (read carousing as sitting in front of a keyboard, and read gambling as estimating how many times he can show up late and still get a decent grade), and on alternate Thursdays (read as never), he vacations aboard an alien spacecraft. Justin thinks that writing is a really keen pastime. Really, really keen. Interests: Fiction, Poetry, Linux, Open Source, Computer Languages, Webcomics, Anime, Vampires, LARP. Justin also is arrogant enough to think you find him interesting enough to go here.
Alex Peterson
 Alex Peterson is a graduating-as-we-speak English & Political Science double major who plans to pursue an MFA in fiction as soon as some school* is kind enough to pay him for pursuing an MFA in fiction. He is not holding his breath.

*Only schools located in states that didn't vote for Bush in 2000 need apply -- Florida included; sorry, Tennessee.
Lauren Johnson Lauren Johnson is a fourth-year English major with an (undeclared) creative writing emphasis. She loves (and hates, periodically) to write fiction, but has NO idea if this is what she wants to do with her life; consequently, she’s planning on spending next year in the UK, possibly at the University of East Anglia, where she will either take creative writing courses and attempt to confront the issue, or just play around and avoid it altogether. Either way, she is an optimist so she figures it’ll work itself out. And she loves New Forum!
Julie Littman
 Julie is a third year Literary Journalism major.She loves to read and write, and she especially loves going to bookstores. After obtaining two bookcases full of books, she realized she has an addiction. She is currently attending a twelve page program although temptation has been difficult. Besides attending bookaholic meetings, she is also the Vice President of Writer's Block, a club for writers. She encourages anyone who wants feedback before they submit to New Forum to attend a few meetings (Wed. 6-8 HICF 100K). Daniel P. Ross
 Daniel Ross is a third year Literary Journalism major who moonlights in fiction. Lately, he's been spotted reading Richard Ford, Haruki Murakami, Alice Munro, and Martin Amis. Evelyn Caldwell
 Evelyn is a second year Literary Journalism major with a passion for good music, good writing, and good fun. Working in the science library, Evelyn was astounded by the profusion of volumes produced yearly on Poultry science. She could only hope to have a similar writing capacity. Or produce just one good story. Or something.
Erin Fitzgerald Erin Fitzgerald is a first year political science and English major. When she’s not playing with her hermit crab, Benjamin, and obsessively scouring thrift shops, she can be found in her room listening to REM or Billie Holiday and working on her self published ‘zine, Gasoline Rainbows. Erin is passionate about writing and creating, and is thrilled to be a part of New Forum.
